The Band

Los Luchitos Orkester is an 11 piece Cumbia orchestra formed in 2020 in Stockholm, Sweden by Tomas Westholm (SWE) and Victor Badel (COL) who found their shared passion of Colombian music and the great composer Lucho Bermudez. Since then they have worked hard to establish a unique style of Swedish-Colombian Cumbia that draws multicultural influences. The orchestra has been busy on the music scene of Stockholm providing music to concerts, parties and dance events. Always offering that special brand of music that only Los Luchitos Orkester is able to produce.

Under close cooperation the band has performed a number of time for Selam Music. Both at their Selam Festival at Nalen, but also headlining an event under Kulturhuset Stadsteater and Selam’s name. Showcasing a diversity of function, both as providing music to passionate dancers, but also providing a choreographed and structured concert programme to a sitting audience.
